The Mekong Delta, or the ‘Nine Dragon River Delta’, is a vast region in Southeast Vietnam. This is where the Mekong River approaches and enters in to the sea through its network of tributaries. Encompassing a large portion of Southeastern Vietnam of 39,000 km2, the Mekong Delta region is richly abundant with water, fruit orchards and most importantly, rice fields. It produces about half of the total of Vietnam’s agricultural output and is the place where you can best experience the timeless sceneries of farmers planting and harvesting rice.

Detailed Itinerary: 07.30: Our Tour Guide & Driver pick you up at your place in Saigon, then take an excursion to Caibe, one of quiet towns in Mekong Delta area. 09.30: Arrive to Caibe, embarking on our luxury Mekong sampan with fresh cotton towels to visit the morning Cai Be colourful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see rices paste, coconut candy and pop-rice, po-corn made. A delicious lunch will be served at an ancient house over 170 years old or under the shade of local orchards on the An Binh Island. After lunch, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an apportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta. One more stop can be made at the nursery garden where you can learn how to have some high quality fruit trees. This is the best choice for you to contact the real famous farmers – Mr Tiger & his son who are very sucessful in Vietnam agriculture. We will enjoy some kinds of fruits from his garden & home made rice wine when listening to the traditional music. The cruise will end at around 14.30pm at Vinh Long town. Then get on vehicle to continuing your trip to Chau Doc, one of quiet cities in Mekong Delta area. Check-in the hotel on arrival. Having DINNER at restaurant. O/N at hotel in Chaudoc.

Detailed Itinerary: Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to visit Tra Su Cajeput Forest in Tinh Bien district, located 15km northeast of the Mekong Riverand 10km northwest of the Cambodia border. We will take a sampan “vo lai” to small canals to visit the forest, you have chance to see many kinds of water birds (mostly stocks), colonies of bads and various rare animal and bird species. Endowed with peace and tranquility, Tra Su forest will certainly become a unique and attractive destination for the tourists who love the beauty of nature. Finish trip, then continue your journey to Cantho city. Stop-over for visiting the Binh Thuy ancient house in Cantho. Check-in the hotel on late afternoon. Take a rest until enjoy dinner at charming restaurant. O/N in Cantho.

Detailed Itinerary: Breakfast at hotel. Then transfer to the pier for taking the boat ride on Mekong River which is the longest and most prosperous in Asia, visit the famous floating market Cai Rang, where you can see the daily life and local people selling their products on boats. Then cruising to small canels to visit one of the local family and their orchard, taste tropical fruits, green tea. Finish trip and get on vehicle for returning to Saigon. Having lunch in Mytho province. After then continue route to Saigon. Drop off in Saigon.

Detailed Itinerary: A good opportunity to do some last minute shopping before your transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your ongoing flight to Siem Reap Upon arrival, meets and transfers to hotel for check in (Early check-in is NOT included and subject to hotel’s availability). Visit the ancient Khmer civilization site of Hariharalaya which flourished in the late 9th and earlier 10th centuries. These are the earliest temples in the Angkor area and are referred to the Rolous group (Lo Lei, Preah Koh, and Bakhong Temples), and afternoon visit to, Pre Roup, Neak Phean and Preah Khan. Detailed Itinerary: Early morning, visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. And continue to visit the intricately carved Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat - one of the world’s most impressive ruins. The temple still owns fine Apsara carvings in Angkorian era art.. At 09am come back to hotel for breakfast and rest in the noon to avoid of the heats of the day until 15:00 continue exploring the mysterious Royal city Angkor Thom. Its 50-tower temple is an awesome sight. At first glance it seems a shapeless mass of stone, but further scrutiny reveals a face, and then another and another until suddenly you are engulfed by the silent, heavy, enigmatic and silent gaze through half-closed eyes, staring out from a primitive and remote time. Detailed Itinerary: Breakfast at hotel, 6:30 enjoy a drive to the rural outskirt 35km from Angkor area to visit the smallest, but magnificent, Banteay Srei built in the 10th Century and dedicated to Shiva. The temple was the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture and the bas-relief work is the best example of Khmer classical art remaining. The pink sandstone structure bears a series of striking and beautiful sculptures, lintels, pediments and friezes. Khmers say the temple must have been carved by women for the details are too fine for the hands of a man. On the way back we visit to Banteay Samre temple and have a lunch local restaurant near Siem Reap town. Afternoon we embark on a short cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, Cambodia’s biggest natural water body (If time permits). The experience is wonderful as we pass by floating village, friendly children in small boats and fishermen at work. And then transfer to airport for flight to Phnom Penh. Detailed Itinerary: After breakfast at the hotel, set out on a city tour to visit the National Museum where houses Khmer art, especially sculptures from different periods of Cambodian history; Royal Place built in 1866 by King Norodom; Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5,000 silver tiles and located within the Royal Palace compound, and visit Toul Sleng Museum, a reminder of the Khmer Rouge regime and then transfer to airport for departure.
